This one was an up and down contest as it’s clear Swagger was still extremely green at this point in his career.
To put this match into perspective; Rey was already selling an injury as he limped his way down the entrance ramp.
When Swagger wasn’t accidentally dropping Rey on his head, he was showing off some of the all-around potential that had people excited about in the beginning of his career.
Rey wins the match with his hurricanrana pin.
This one is no Ric Flair vs. Terry Funk classic, but it had some bright spots. If you don’t feel like watching the whole thing, then at least zoom ahead to where Rey delivers the best tornado DDT I’ve ever seen off of the top rope.

Massive Chokeslam, Tombstone Piledriver and that’s all she wrote.
With Mysterio selling an injury from the get-go, this was on the back of everyone’s mind.
