“Montreal Screw Job”

Definition: Bret Hart and Vince’s dispute causing Vince to secure the legitimacy of the title by changing the outcome of the match without telling Hart. I’ve heard some fans argue it’s the ‘greatest work in the history of professional wrestling’ which, by looking at Hart’s WCW run would cause me to argue that point. It’s caused countless discussions and arguments over the years, but it is to any wrestling fan, one of the biggest moments in WWE history.

Alternate definition: The moment Vince became the biggest villain in the history of professional wrestling.

“Finger Poke of Doom”

Definition: The night that WCW threw in the towel when Kevin Nash, fresh off handing Goldberg his first loss and won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, laid down for Hulk Hogan after a finger poke.

“IWC”

Definition: Internet Wrestling Community. By the acronym, it represents any fan of professional wrestling that has internet access and expresses his/her opinion on what’s going on in their favorite promotion.
