Chris Jericho Returns: 5 WWE Feuds We’d Love to See

CHRIS JERICHO VS. DEAN AMBROSE

This is another feud that could see either guy play either role, but I’d like to see it go another way — face vs. face. How about a situation where the two have a straightforward and “friendly” feud, based completely around the quality of the wrestling? They don’t need to hate on each other, don’t need to resort to cheesy tactics to garner false heat and don’t need to turn either guy.

Ambrose could approach Jericho in the ring during a promo and would praise Jericho for his career and for how long he’s been able to be considered a star. Ambrose would make note that he wants to follow in Jericho’s footsteps and would challenge him to a series of matches (submission, 2/3 falls, etc). There’s really no other way than to have Ambrose go over, but it could be a fun feud that would showcase both talents.

This could also setup a Jericho heel turn down the line, if he decides to attack Ambrose, claiming he’s not washed up yet and he wants his revenge. Just a lot of ways to go with this one.
