X-Pac vs. Chris Jericho (with Curtis Hughes)
Y2J had been feuding with Ken Shamrock leading up to this night, but Shamrock left the company and X-Pac was tabbed to fill in.
This was a very fun match as both of these guys flew around the ring at a high-rate. There’s a strong cruiserweight division feel to this one, which was at the time foreign to a 1999 WWE card.
After about 10 minutes of solid back-and-forth action, Hughes interferes and drills the referee. Pac wins by disqualification thanks to more outside interference.
Seriously, this card has oozed with 2001 WCW-esque finishes.
