Speaking of Shane, he was always one of my favorite characters. Whether he was leading the Mean Street Posse or buying WCW before Vince knew what was happening, it always seemed like Shane was in a meaningful, fun storyline. He’s also one of the only performers (with Vince) to defeat God. Sorry, I just can’t let that one go.

Here’s a “did you know”…did you know that Shane is younger than Kurt Angle? I never would have guessed that. McMahon is 44, Angle is now 45.

Shane was never the most athletic and never had a wrestler’s body, but he was always willing to get in there and mix it up with the boys. The amount of respect he must have garnered from the lockerroom had to be off the charts. He was management, but was willing to put his body on the line as well. Shane would make a terrific mouthpiece and a great foil to his sister Stephanie, although it’s been done a million times. Hey, maybe Shane could bring back…
