Another big, hulking wrestler with a weak finisher. I’m all for the submission holds — I was a huge Crippler Crossface fan — but this one is weak. Don’t try this at home, but imagine being in that position for a second. Could you get out? SPOILER — all you’d have to do is slide one of your arms forward and you’d be just fine. Again, I know I’m using too much logic for something that’s entertainment, but why not take advantage of Rusev’s brute strength?

Have you seen the size of Rusev’s legs? Why doesn’t anyone have a finisher where they do some sort of scissor hold on an opponent’s neck? Have you ever had someone do that to your stomach? It takes the life out of you in a heartbeat. Now imagine someone like Rusev doing it. If you guessed that “near death” would be the result, I believe you’d be correct.
