Sheamus pre-taped promo/The Miz promo/Sheamus vs. The Miz
Sheamus said that Miz doesn’t like getting hit in the face, and that’s okay, because he won’t hit him in the face, he will just kick it off of him.
Miz said that he is going to win the battle royal at Battleground. He said that it is only right that a star like him become champion. He then announced that “the moneymaker” would be on display throughout the entire match on the Titan Tron.
The Miz rolled up Sheamus for a surprise victory. Solid match, and a big win for Miz heading into the battle royal on Sunday.
Kane, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins and The Authority backstage
Orton and Rollins were gloating over their attack on Ambrose, when Orton turned to Kane and said that if they keep that up, Orton will definitely walk out of Battleground as champion. Kane questioned why Orton should be champion over him, and the two started to have an argument over whether or not they could trust each other. Triple H then walked in and said that he trusts them both, so they should trust each other. The two then walked off as Stephanie McMahon walked in. Triple H and Stephanie then made out.
