Who would’ve thought that a kid from Scarsdale would become one of the most beloved figures in professional wrestling history?

If you ask a diehard wrestling fan, Paul Heyman is one of the greatest minds to ever grace the business. He cultivated Eastern Championship Wrestling and made it into the legend that is Extreme Championship Wrestling, and that’s enough for a legacy to sustain.

Since then, all Heyman has done is develop and/or manage some of the biggest names in WWE history.

From his stint as SmackDown general manager to his time as the backing force of CM Punk and everything in between, Heyman always found a way to flick the beloved-to-hated switch. It’s part of what makes him such a legend in the industry.

Heyman is one of the greatest presences to ever grace this business, and if this list were to include non-wrestlers, he’d be near the top.
