Triple H w/ Renee Young
Renee was outside The Authority’s office when Triple H exited, she tried to stop him, but he was on his way to the ring to make his announcement. She asked if he should be with Stephanie, which caused Triple H to return and give her an angry stare before walking away again.
Triple H and Paul Heyman promo
Triple H introduced Randy Orton as John Cena’s SummerSlam opponent. As Orton was about to enter the ring, Roman Reigns came out and brawled with him through the crowd and into the backstage area.
Heyman then came out onto the stage. He said “Plan A” failed, and “Plan B” isn’t reliable because of Dean Ambrose. He said they need to go with “Plan C” and Brock Lesnar came out.
Triple H shook hands with Heyman, then Lesnar, as Lesnar became Cena’s opponent for SummerSlam.
Heyman then got on the mic and touted Lesnar’s WrestleMania win. Heyman then addressed the two sides of the Cena coin, “Let’s go Cena” and “Cena sucks”. Heyman called Cena a “Malpracticing Doctor of Thuganomics”. Heyman then introduced a clip of Lesnar ending The Streak at WrestleMania XXX. Heyman then brought up Vince McMahon leaving WrestleMania to be with The Undertaker again.
Heyman promised that the same beating is waiting for Cena at SummerSlam. Heyman said that Lesnar isn’t just going to strip Cena of the title, but also his dignity.
Heyman listed Cena’s accomplishments and said that they sound like something worth “conquering”. This crowd wanted to cheer for Lesnar and Heyman, but Heyman got them. Masterful, masterful promo from one of the best.
