Charlotte vs. Summer Rae for the NXT Women’s Championship
First of all, this match got the championship introductions, which they should do for every match. It adds a little something to the match and makes it feel special.
The match started with a lot of jaw-jacking, as the Divas got in each other’s faces. Charlotte quickly knocked down Summer, then mocked her dancing, which angered Summer and led to a fierce brawl.
Charlotte and Summer brawled for a bit, before Charlotte gained control and started going to work on Summer.
Summer took over with a desperation move, when she pulled the top-rope down as Charlotte charged at her, forcing Charlotte to drop to the floor.
This match ended with a lot of back-and-forth action, before Charlotte got the win with Bow Down to the Queen.
Charlotte defeats Summer Rae via pinfall.
3 out of 5 stars – For a non-main event, TV match, this was solid work from the two Divas. That being said, I hope this was the payoff.
