Roman Reigns vs. Alberto Del Rio

The match began with a few exchanges on offense. Del Rio tried going for an early Cross-Arm Breaker, but Reigns avoided it.

Del Rio took advantage in the beginning of the match. His kick to Reigns in the arm was a great selling job or just very painful.

Reigns would eventually start to take over and show off some of his power moves. He seems to be making some progress as an in-ring performer but still needs more experience.

The momentum swung back Del Rio’s way after dodging a few moves of Reigns’ and hitting him with some kicks.

A few minutes later, Superman Punch! Perfectly set up for the Spear, which the former Shield member nailed for the victory.

Reigns defeats Del Rio via pin-fall.

3.5 out of 5 stars – Not the best match in the world, but a solid job done by both performers to close out the show. A little surprised that Randy Orton did not appear, but I guess he got the night off.
