Raw Review: Stephanie McMahon Makes a SummerSlam Deal with Brie Bella

Stephanie came out and talked about all the mental anguish she has suffered since her arrest last week. She talked about her daughters, and how her relationship with them has changed. Brie made her way to the crowd with a security escort. Brie grabbed a mic and said she didn’t want to hear Stephanie complain anymore, and that it was time to get down to business.

Stephanie asked Brie to drop all the charges, and Brie wondered why she should. Stephanie admitted to taking advantage of Nikki Bella. She said that would change, and that she would give Nikki a raise. Brie accepted that, but said she also wanted her job back. Stephanie didn’t want to concede that, and said that one Bella in the WWE is enough. Stephanie did concede it though, and Brie accepted this offer.

Stephanie began to walk away, but much like when her husband led “Occupy Raw”, and had his one extra demand, Brie had one more trick up her sleeve.

Brie said she wanted a match at SummerSlam. Stephanie said that would be easy, just name the opponent. Brie made Stephanie’s jaw drop when she said she wanted a match with Ms. McMahon herself.

Stephanie said she hasn’t competed in over 10 years, as she seemed really apprehensive. Stephanie said she has conceded a lot, and pleaded with Brie to give in on this demand, but Brie wouldn’t budge and began to walk away.

Stephanie got really worked up, but eventually accepted the offer and made the match official. Stephanie seemed really emotional, as she started to cry, but turned off the waterworks, slapped Brie off the ring apron, and said she would make Brie her “bitch” at SummerSlam.

Brie recovered and started to brawl with Stephanie, as Triple H sent out some backstage officials to break it up.

Wow, truly awesome. I couldn’t believe these two would main event Raw, but they did and they proved it was the right call. The crowd is into this angle, and Stephanie and Brie are both delivering. This feud is red-hot.
