WWE NXT Review: Tyson Kidd takes on Adam Rose

Adam Rose vs. Tyson Kidd

Early “Nattie’s Husband” chant as the match got started.

Rose went to the outside early, handed Nattie a lollipop, and she put it in her mouth, which drew a loud reaction from the crowd. Kidd then lost his mind over it, and that allowed Rose to take over in the match.

Kidd had a long beat down on Rose, but Rose was able to turn it around and hit his comeback. Rose seemed ready to go for the Party Foul, but Kidd countered and went for the Sharpshooter, but Rose countered that.

As the match was on the outside, Kidd threw Rose back into the ring, Kidd then picked up the lollipop from earlier and showed it to Nattie, as he was still upset and thinking about it. The slight hesitation hurt Kidd, as he got rolled up by Rose while he was still climbing into the ring.

Rose defeats Kidd via pinfall.

After the match, Nattie climbed in the ring and tried to console Kidd, but he was very upset with her and kept trying to get away from her as the show ended.

4 out of 5 stars – I didn’t have big expectations for this match, but these guys delivered. Comedy when it was needed, then serious wrestling when it was needed. It was exactly what you’d want out of a TV main event.
