Bray Wyatt promo

Bray asked Y2J why he keeps coming back. He asked if it was for the thrill, the lights, the rush of when people start chanting his name. Bray then wondered if it had anything to do with himself.

Bray said that Sister Abigail warned him about Y2J. She said that Y2J’s mouth would be filled with lies and deception.

Bray said that the crowd sees right through Y2J, and that they will see Bray beat Y2J at SummerSlam. Bray said that Y2J will save nobody at SummerSlam, but especially not himself.

Erick Rowan vs. Chris Jericho

Y2J had a little early offense, but Rowan’s strength was always able to stop Y2J’s momentum.

With Rowan distracting the referee, Luke Harper grabbed Y2J’s foot and brought him to the ground. The referee yelled “I heard that”, and ejected Harper from ringside. Michael Cole noted how Y2J’s odds were now improved.

Despite Cole’s claim, Rowan continued to dominate the slow-paced match. However, Y2J did start to pick up a head of steam, but Rowan didn’t let that last for too long.

Y2J got just enough control to hit the Codebreaker

Jericho defeats Rowan via pinfall.

4 out of 5 stars – The TV main events have been fantastic in the past few weeks. Rowan, who has been nothing but underwhelming since his debut, looked great in the ring with Y2J.
