Dean Ambrose vs. Randy Orton
Ambrose’s shoulder, which is still wrapped up from the injury he suffered a few weeks ago, was an easy target for Orton early in this match, but Ambrose cut that offense off early, then worked Orton over.
Orton went to work on Ambrose’s shoulder, but Ambrose still was able to fight back, living up to his nickname, The Lunatic Fringe.
Just as Ambrose seemed set to hit Dirty Deeds, Seth Rollins came out and tried to stop him, but Ambrose took care of him before he could interfere. Ambrose turned right into an RKO attempt, but he countered and hit Dirty Deeds. As Ambrose went for the cover, Rollins pulled him out of the ring and attacked him.
Ambrose defeats Orton via DQ.
After the match, Ambrose was able to counter Rollins’ attack and start to attack him, but Orton got involved and hit Ambrose with an RKO and telling Rollins “He’s all yours”. Rollins then grabbed a soda and poured it on Ambrose, like Ambrose did to Rollins’ briefcase.
Rollins hit a curb stomp on Ambrose to stand tall at the end of the show.
3.5 out of 5 stars – Ambrose and Orton put on a pretty entertaining match. Pretty good for TV, but nothing special for a TV main event.
