4. The Wolves

Shortly before The Wolves signed with TNA, they had a week-long tryout with NXT. As we now know, WWE decided to pass on the talented tag team. It was reported that Triple H wasn’t too keen on giving them a look at all given their size, but they were given a chance and eventually done in by a botch in a match against The Ascension.

While their first try with WWE didn’t go according to plan, there’s no reason that they shouldn’t be given another look, especially after seeing how well they were able to connect with the fans in the Impact Zone. This can more than likely be attributed to the clear chemistry that they have shown in each match; they actually look and perform like a tag team, rather than just two performers who were randomly thrown together.

The jolt of excitement that they provide every time they’re in the ring would be welcomed to a depleted tag team division in WWE, who essentially has The Uso’s, The Wyatt Family and StarDust as the lone competitive teams. There seems to be a new team on the horizon with The Nation of Domination set to return, but adding these two would only serve to improve the depth of the division.

Their failed tryout, as well as Davey Richards’ known attitude problem, could be a big factor in them making it to WWE, but the company would be wise to overlook these details for the sake of the fans.
