5 TNA Superstars WWE Should Consider Signing
By Brian Rzeppa
2. Bobby Roode

Much like many of the other names on this list, Bobby Roode actually has some experience with WWE, although his happens to be a bit more extended than the rest of the bunch. Wrestling under the name “Bobby Rude”, Roode often found himself as enhancement talent on shows like Velocity and Sunday Night Heat.
It’s clear that he’s grown leaps and bounds in the decade that has followed that brief run, and he’s made himself into one of the best all-around performers in all of wrestling. His style in the ring has been compared to the man in charge of hiring new talent, Triple H, and given the King of Kings’ laundry list of standout matches, that’s a great person to be compared to.
On the mic, he has the ability to make the fans hate his guts or, alternatively, give him boisterous cheers. The key to getting to the top in wrestling is getting yourself over with the fans and Roode is easily capable of doing that. He’s already 37, so a spot in the main event typically wouldn’t be open to him but given his ability, I don’t think it would be out of the question.
His age is the sole factor I could see going against him receiving a contract from WWE. Hopefully they would be able to get passed that small bump in the road and open up the business to all of the entertaining rivalries that could result from this signing.
