WWE SummerSlam: How can WWE pull a swerve on the fans?
Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns
This feud has been lost in the shuffle at times with such a loaded card for SummerSlam.
Randy Orton has looked dominant for the past month and seems to have re-gained “The Viper” mentality back.
Roman Reigns is expected to use Orton as a stepping stone to get to Triple H for a match at Night of Champions to really establish himself and get over further with the fans. Before that, Reigns will need to excel in this opportunity in his one on one PPV match this Sunday.
The COO really hasn’t been involved in a rivalry for the past month other than barking orders at members of the roster. He did have a role on August 4th’s Raw when he stood by his wife, Stephanie McMahon, as her and Brie Bella signed a contract for their upcoming match. He was not seen this past Monday, however. What if he interferes in Orton-Reigns and either distracts Reigns to cause an Orton victory or breaks up the match when Reigns is about to win, causing a disqualification? Reigns would not have to
Either option would be a near perfect swerve to set up Triple-Reigns next month. There would be a legitimate reason to put these two together. It would be better than HHH showing up on the following Raw while Reigns is giving a promo to voice his displeasure about his victory over Orton.
