Jack Swagger w/ Renee Young
Swagger admitted that he had an opportunity to defend his country, and that he failed.
Swagger said that America is a great country because of how Americans band together in tough time. He said that he plans to come back from this strong and make up for the loss.
Awesome job by Swagger. He has clearly been learning from Zeb.
Jack Swagger vs. Cesaro
Every time Swagger got some offense going, he felt the pain of his injured midsection. Cesaro also exploited that injury every opportunity he got.
Cesaro locked in the Patriot Lock from the outside, but forced to break it, then locked it in again, but had to break it again when Cesaro got to the ropes.
With the referee’s back turned, Cesaro put a thumb to Swagger’s eye, before hitting the Neutralizer.
Cesaro defeats Swagger via pinfall.
3.25 out of 5 stars – Solid match. Swagger sold his injury very well throughout the match, and Cesaro did a great job of building around the injury.
Bo Dallas promo
Bo talked about 318 million Americans who were let down at SummerSlam by Swagger. He then pointed out all the things that Swagger has lost in the last 24 hours, like his manager, his self-respect, and his dignity. Bo said that Swagger can get it all back if he Bolieves.
Chris Jericho w/ Renee Young
Busy night for Renee.
She asked Y2J about his loss at SummerSlam. Y2J said that nobody is like Bray Wyatt, and he called the spider walk the most disturbing thing he’s ever seen in a ring.
Y2J said that Bray has nothing inside, and when he said he’s “already dead”, he truly is dead inside.
Y2J said that he knows all his fans have his back moving forward, and that Bray doesn’t have that on his side.
Looks like this feud will continue, as expected.
