Randy Orton and Rybaxel vs. Sheamus, Rob Van Dam and Roman Reigns

A lot of early offense by the faces on Orton.

As Raw returned from commercial, Axel was in the ring with Sheamus, and Sheamus was in control. As Sheamus went to run off the ropes to hit a running knee, Orton pulled the ropes down and helped his team gain control.

As Orton was working on Sheamus, the crowd started a few chants for their native son, Ryback. The veteran Orton helped manufacture a big pop, as he tagged Ryback in, and the crowd went crazy for all of Ryback’s offense.

Towards the end of the match, Reigns hit an awesome diving spear on Orton to help clear the ring, before RVD hit a Five-Star Frog Splash on Curtis Axel for the win.

Van Dam, Sheamus and Reigns defeat Rybaxel and Orton via pinfall.

3.75 out of 5 stars – Awesome six-man tag match. Everybody did their part and put on a good show, not to mention the cool, feel-good moment for Ryback.

Randy Orton and Ric Flair backstage

Orton was walking around the backstage area, looking very frustrated, when Flair walked up.

Flair tried to give Orton some advice, but Orton told him to back off, unless he wanted a reminder on why they used to call Orton the “Legend Killer”.

Bray Wyatt backstage

Bray talked about how he beat Chris Jericho at SummerSlam, and how he said it would happen.

Bray admitted that Y2J might be right, and that he might not have a soul, but he said that Y2J would never be able to comprehend what Bray is. Bray called himself the “new face of salvation”.

This was a really good promo. Shorter promos are better sometimes, and WWE needs to remember that with Bray more often.
