Rob Van Dam and Randy Orton w/ Renee Young

Renee asked RVD about his match with Orton.

RVD said that Orton is clearly obsessing over his loss to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, but RVD said that Reigns is a really tough competitor, and that Orton has nothing to be ashamed of.

AS RVD was leading the crowd in saying his initials, Orton attacked him from behind. With RVD laid out, Orton told Renee to tell RVD to meet him in the ring when he wakes up.

Orton was awesome here, and Renee looked…..Renee looked good.

Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam

RVD came out hot, like spinning heel kicks were going out of style. However, when Orton countered the guillotine leg drop on the barricade, he took control and beat RVD at ringside until they were both counted out.

Match ends in a double-countout.

After the match, Orton continued his assault, including hitting the “Vintage Orton” hanging DDT on the barricade. Orton would then mock RVD, by pointing at his shoulders with his thumbs, and saying “R-K-O”.

Orton finished the attack by delivering an RKO onto a chair, and most likely knocking RVD out of action until he is ready to return around Royal Rumble time.

Before he left, Orton went to the commentary team to tell them to tell Roman Reigns that he would see him later.

Orton was absolutely fantastic. When Orton slows things down, he can put a methodical beatdown down like nobody else.

Roman Reigns w/ Renee Young

Renee asked Reigns about all that’s happened with Randy Orton in the past week.

Reigns said that after Orton’s attack on RVD, and Seth Rollins and Kane’s attack on Dean Ambrose from Raw, The Authority must think they have everything under control. Reigns, however, promised that he would get revenge.

If you don’t think that Reigns is coming into his own, you’re not paying close enough attention.
