Overall Impression

This show was better than I expected. There was not a ton of storyline development, but plenty happened in the feud between Roman Reigns and Randy Orton. I find myself being really entertained by this feud, and hope that when Triple H does officially step in, that they find a nice way to transfer the heat over to him.

Tom Phillips was a bit of a disappointment on commentary, as a he mostly took a backseat to Michael Cole and JBL. I would like to see him step into his own in the coming weeks, as he’s shown he can be pretty funny on commentary. Like I said in the opening, if he could take over as SmackDown’s play-by-play man, he would take a lot of Cole’s plate, and it would be a big boost to the product as a whole. So that is something to watch in the coming weeks.
