WWE NXT Review: New GM Revealed

The new ring announcer, former Total Diva Jojo, announced that Regal would be the new NXT GM.

Regal got right down to business and was set to announce the main event for Takeover 2. Regal brought out the champion.

Neville congratulated the new GM, and asked him who would be the next challenger for his title.

As Regal was set to announce the #1 Contendr, Kidd came out and interrupted. Kidd thanked Regal for the opportunity, and said that he would be the next NXT Champion, when Breeze interrupted.

Breeze thought that Kidd’s looks didn’t earn him a title shot. He said that everybody should be in line for a title shot before Kidd, including Natalya. Finally, Zayn joined the party.

Zayn limped out and said that he deserves a title shot over Kidd and Breeze, but Neville interrupted him. Neville said he wanted to face all three men, and Regal gave him that opportunity, making a Fatal 4-Way for the NXT Championship at Takeover 2.

This was awesome. For my money, these are easily the four most talented men on NXT and it should be fun to see them share the ring together with the title on the line.

Veronica asked Regal about his huge announcement in his first appearance as GM.

Regal said that it wasn’t his idea, and the idea just presented itself to him. Regal added onto the idea, making a match for tonight, putting Tyson Kidd and Tyler Breeze together, to team against Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn.
