The tag team division in the WWE always seems to be in flux.

Over the past few years, the division has been pretty mediocre. Go and look at the recent history of the Tag Team Championship from 2010 to the present. There were some nice runs by Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes and Goldust, Team Hell No, and currently The Usos.

The Usos have not had any good competition during their run other than Luke Harper and Erick Rowan (who probably should have won the titles at Battleground). RybAxel challenged them a few times and went nowhere since they began their run as well.

Right now, the sons of Rikishi are in a feud with Goldust and Stardust for the tag titles. If they don’t lose the titles to them at Night of Champions, there really is no other legitimate opponent on the roster for them. Maybe that will signify a call-up for The Ascension?

Before we can speculate on The Ascension being called up, we need to focus on how the WWE tag team division currently looks. As of now, the look is not pretty. That has resulted from poor booking and a lack of talent in the division.

We’re going to evaluate every current tag team in the division and grade them on their performance as a duo. Let’s take a look at the teams!

*RybAxel will be omitted due to the state of Ryback’s health and if this team will stay together when he returns.
