The State of the WWE Tag Team Division Address

Big Show and Mark Henry

Big Show and Mark Henry are the newest team to the Tag Team Division. They were put together because of their imposing size and strength against their opponents.

WWE fans would take this team seriously if this was 5-8 years ago. Were in the year 2014 and Show and Henry are 42 and 43, respectively.

They do not move around well anymore from their age and an increasing amount of injuries. Henry was out for a chunk of time this year to heal wounds. Show has not had any notable injuries, but he’s a shell of himself from a decade ago.

Despite all of this, WWE seems keen on making this face duo dominant by getting over on The Wyatt Family time after time. Aren’t the ladder wrestlers supposed to be the up and coming Superstars here?

It just doesn’t make any sense that Show and Henry beat them every time in the ring. I evaluated that a little bit in this article on the booking of The Wyatt Family.

With the way how they are being built up, expect them to contend for the Tag Team Championship in the near future, possibly at the Hell in a Cell PPV.

Show and Henry seem to be in “3rd place” in the division, but this writer is not impressed.
