John Cena, Kane, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Triple H promo

Cena started off playing with the crowd, joking about his bright red shirt at the University of Nebraska, igniting a “Go Big Red” chant.

Cena got serious fast. He said that he is completely ready to face Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions. He said that everybody is doubting him, and he is sick of hearing it. Cena said that he is not done, and that he is ready to fight and that he gets the will to fight from his desire to be champion. He reiterated that he is not only going to Night of Champions to beat Lesnar, but “to beat his…”. Cena didn’t finish that sentence, as Kane’s music hit, and Kane and Rollins came out.

Kane and Rollins mocked Cena for having a “mid-career crisis”, and Rollins compared Cena to a 50-year-old man going out and buying a sports car. Cena mocked Kane for being the new spokesperson for Men’s Wearhouse, and told Rollins to go sit in the corner while the adults were talking. As Rollins and Kane got set to respond, Reigns came through the aisle.

Reigns said that he is going to finish Randy Orton off on Monday, but since he’s not here, he’s willing to knock Kane and Rollins out. Kane started to laugh, and told them that him and Rollins aren’t their opponents for the evening, then The Wyatt Family graphic hit, the lights cut, and when they came back on, The Wyatt Family were standing in front of Kane and Rollins, standing off with Reigns and Cena. Before anything could happen, Chris Jericho’s music hit, and he walked onto the stage with Mark Henry and Big Show.

Y2J, Henry and Show started to converge on Kane, Rollins and The Wyatt Family, but Triple H’s music came out, and he went full Teddy Long-mode, as he made a 10-man tag match, then exited to Long’s music.

This was pretty fun, and it was all logical. It’s tough to not have the world champion on TV, but they are doing a good job of having Cena feud with The Authority, in place of Lesnar.
