WWE has been combining the feuds with the Intercontinental and United States Championships. Shouldn’t this be another wake up call that they need to combine these belts?

If the fans needed more evidence of this, Dolph Ziggler just beat Cesaro, the #1 contender for the US Title on this past Friday’s SmackDown. It devalued the title once again and showed its poor standing with the WWE Creative staff. At this rate, don’t be surprised if Sheamus and the King of Swing face off on the Night of Champions pre-show.

Expect these two feuds to be merged together again on WWE Raw as WWE will want to save as much time as possible for their two big matches of the night. Maybe another tag team match could be in the works for tomorrow.
