Charlotte vs. Bayley for the NXT Women’s Championship
Bayley had a lot of energy early, and a lot of aggression. Charlotte’s facials were great, as she showed a lot of confusion and surprise, as Bayley dominated the early going.
Charlotte got back in it though. Charlotte used her insane athletic ability, and looked really good doing it. Bayley sold really well, and got the crowd behind her.
The final stages of the match saw a lot of innovative moves, and both Divas showcase their remarkable athletic ability.
After Bayley kicked out of a moonsault, Charlotte got the win with Natural Selectino, which is the move formerly known as Bow Down to the Queen.
Charlotte defeats Bayley via pinall.
4 out of 5 stars – The “This is Awesome” chant was well deserved in this one, and the NXT Universe was shouting that during this match. This wasn’t a good Divas match, it was a good match period. We’ve seen it from Charlotte before, but Bayley delivered big time.
After the match, Sasha Banks came down to the ring, brushed by Charlotte, and started to attack Bayley. Charlotte watched for a second, then ran in to save Bayley. Charlotte threw Sasha into the corner, and stood in between them both. Immediate speculation is that these three find themselves in a Triple Threat Match for the NXT Women’s Championship. That would be awesome.
