Roman Reigns vs. Rusev

Rusev came out on fire against The Juggernaut. Every time Reigns got going in this one, Rusev was able to shut him down.

Reigns finally built some momentum, and seemed set to go for a home run on Rusev, but Seth Rollins came down and jumped on the apron.

Reigns went at Rollins, who backed away, but the distraction was enough to let Rusev hit Reigns with a superkick. Reigns countered The Accolade, so Rollins went to the top-rope. As Rollins came off the top, Reigns moved out of the way, and Rollins hit Rusev with the briefcase.

Rusev defeats Reigns via DQ.

After the match, Reigns cleared Rollins out of the ring, then hit Rusev with a Superman Punch. Reigns and Rollins then brawled into the crowd, as Rusev and Lana celebrated. They couldn’t celebrate for long though, as Mark Henry came out.

Henry revealed a giant American flag, much in the same way that Rusev and Lana usually reveal the giant Russian flag. Rusev then looked to brawl, and they did, until Henry hit the World’s Strongest Slam.

3.5 out of 5 stars – I was pretty pleased with the match between Reigns and Rusev. Neither one of them could afford the loss, so I’m okay with the DQ finish.

I am not okay with Henry and Rusev closing another show. Stephanie McMahon and Brie Bella did better than these two.
