Number 4. Stunt Double Mania

Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and the ‘Hollywood A-Lister’ The Miz have been involved in an extremely entertaining feud for the IC Title for over a month now. The two have great ring chemistry and are two of the best speakers on the mic in the business, so no one should be surprised with the entertainment of their feud. That being said though, a lot of that entertainment isn’t coming from either Ziggler or Miz. Rather, their stunt doubles, R-Ziggler and Damian Mizdow have kept this feud fresh over the last week.

While Mizdow debuted a few weeks ago and R-Zigger was introduced a couple weeks back, their tag-team match (while teaming up with their real-life counterparts, if you want to refer to them as that) on this week’s episode of Main Event was excellent. We had seen this tag team match the previous night on Raw but the extended time they were given on Main Event showed why WWE is smart by keeping the stunt doubles around.

Mizdow does an incredible job of mimicking every little move Miz makes and R-Ziggler has been doing a great job of performing Ziggler’s signature moves and taunts. The two men have done a great job of putting together good in-ring matches and have made sure this feud gets more and more heated. Expect both men to have an impact on the result of Sunday’s IC Title match.
