Charlotte vs. Bayley for the NXT Women’s Championship
Bayley came out really strong, and looked really good as she made Charlotte take a long trip to the outside to regroup.
Charlotte took advantage of Bayley’s aggression, as she slowed things down and dominated Bayley, doing serious damage to Bayley’s knee in the process.
Bayley started to hit her comeback, but Charlotte got her to the ground and locked in the Figure-Four. Bayley looked like she might tap out, as Charlotte even added extra pressure by adding a bridge to the hold. However, Bayley was able to turn over and reverse the pressure, forcing Charlotte to break the hold.
Bayley then continued her comeback attempt, but Charlotte countered with a vicious neckbreaker, followed by Natural Selection for the win.
Charlotte defeats Bayley via pinfall.
3 out of 5 stars – Unsurprisingly, this was not as good as their match at TakeOver, but it was still very good. Bayley is a star, and Charlotte truly is genetically superior.
