SmackDown Review: Dean Ambrose Takes on Kane

Ambrose said that Seth Rollins is not prepared for Hell in a Cell. Ambrose admitted that he doesn’t even know what will happen inside the Cell. He said that Kane wants to hear him scream, but that Kane’s been in too many horror movies. He said he’s going to have to take care of Kane before he gets to Rollins.

Once the match started, Ambrose was immediately toying with Rollins and Kane. Ambrose had the momentum early, and he was completely dominant of Kane.
Kane eventually used his strength advantage to help turn the tide, as Ambrose went for a tornado DDT off the middle rope, and Kane countered by tossing him to the mat.
Kane worked Ambrose over, until Ambrose threw Kane’s face into the steel steps. Ambrose followed with a suicide dive and a dropkick off the top rope.
Ambrose went for the Nigel McGuinness clothesline, but Rollins pulled him through the ropes to cause a DQ.
After the match, Rollins immediately continued the attack on Ambrose. Kane and Rollins set Ambrose up for a curb stomp onto a chair. Ambrose side stepped it and picked up the chair, sending Rollins cowering into the corner.
Ambrose defeats Kane via DQ.
Kane came in and tried to chokeslam Ambrose, but Ambrose countered and started beating Kane with the chair. Kane rolled out of the ring, while Rollins escaped to the stage.
3 out of 5 stars – Solid way to end the show. The DQ finish was very predictable though.
