WWE Hell in a Cell Predictions: Big Show vs. Rusev

At WWE Hell in a Cell, Big Show fights for America, as he takes on the Hero of the Russian Federation, Rusev.

After Rusev defeated Show’s friend Mark Henry at Night of Champions, and the night after on Raw, Show decided to step in and take on Rusev himself.

Show has delivered a few KO Punches to Rusev over the past few weeks, but he hasn’t pinned him, and Rusev is still undefeated.

Show has disrespected Russian flags, The Rock has gotten in Rusev’s face, a lot has taken place in this rivalry, but when the bell rings on Sunday, it will just be a one-on-one match.

Here are the predictions from Rob Wolkenbrod, Jordan Campbell, Carl Gac, Becca Cook, Callum Wiggins, and Mike Smith:

Rob’s Take: No doubt about it – Rusev will win this match, but Mark Henry will be seen at some point in this and finally complete his heel turn. We’ll probably get Big Show vs. Henry at Survivor Series next month.

Rob’s Prediction: Rusev

Jordan’s Take: Rusev will win this match. Though, the thing to watch for in this match is a Mark Henry heel turn. Henry has been all too chipper lately, and usually when that happens, there is a heel turn in his near future.

Jordan’s Prediction: Rusev

Carl’s Take: The dastardly (Bulgarian) Russian should take the win here. Show and Henry will clash at some point during the bout, leading to Rusev getting the win. From there Henry and Show will probably enter into a program together, while Rusev will go forward to a probable feud with Cena that leads up to WrestleMania.

Carl’s Prediction: Rusev

Becca’s Take: Rusev is the most hated heel on the roster right now. He and Lana play their Russian gimmick very well, and even though I’m not American I find myself hating them for their anti-American actions. He does need to lose soon, but Big Show is not the person he should lose to. However, I can’t help but believe this is what will happen. Big Show will win then cry as the USA National Anthem plays.

Becca’s Prediction: Big Show

Callum’s Take: I’m strangely excited by this match. Big Show has definitely been Rusev’s greatest opponent since Jack Swagger, and looks the most viable threat to the Bulgarian’s undefeated streak. The addition of the soldier on RAW might be seen as a little tasteless, but it puts some emotion into the bout that it was lacking beforehand. It seemed corny before this, and now it is a real, important match. Still, Rusev will get his biggest scalp to date by knocking off the giant.

Callum’s Prediction: Rusev

Mike’s Take: Rusev needs to win this match. This feud has been horrifying, and the only way it could be worse is if it does lead to Show vs. Henry.
