John Cena, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H promo
Cena talked about earning the #1 Contender’s spot inside Hell in a Cell. He said that Brock Lesnar is sitting at home thinking he is a champion, but Cena gets in the ring every night and fights like a champion.
Cena said everything he does until he gets his title shot will be a message to Lesnar, and it all starts with his match against Seth Rollins.
Cena said that if Rollins is the “future”, then the “future” ain’t coming anytime soon, but Stephanie came out to interrupt.
Stephanie had a business proposition for Cena. Stephanie mocked Cena for his pandering to the crowd. Stephanie eventually offered Cena a spot with The Authority, which would include some “insurance” for his match with Lesnar.
Stephanie gave Cena the hard sell, but Cena wasn’t phased. Cena gave Stephanie an emphatic “no”, until Triple H made his way to the ring.
Triple H said he told Stephanie, and that he knew Cena wouldn’t accept her offer.
Triple H said the longer you’re “here”, the harder it gets. Triple H said that Cena can make things easier for himself, if he does “the right thing”. Triple H said he knows Cena is smart, but if Cena can’t see what’s in front of him, they’ll just have to prove it to him.
Triple H then challenged “Team Cena” on behalf of “Team Authority”. Triple H said that Cena could bring anybody who would join him on his team.
Triple H said that if “the future” doesn’t run him over tonight, it will at Survivor Series.
Truly awesome promo. I’m genuinely excited who makes up the two teams, hopefully Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury will be involved. I can’t wait for this match, which could be one of the best Survivor Series matches in years.
