Adios to “The Viper?”

Randy Orton’s tension with the Authority – more specifically, Seth Rollins, has pretty much reached its boiling point. From the Curb Stomp on Orton on Raw a few weeks ago, to Orton’s RKO “Outta Nowhere” on Rollins this past Monday, a rivalry is building between the two. It’s going to lead to a long feud – possibly for WrestleMania 31.

In the middle of all of this is Randy Orton’s life outside of WWE. It was announced recently that “The Viper” will be in WWE Studios’ The Condemned 2: Desert Prey, which begins filming on November 11. It will mean that Orton will have to take some time off from WWE. It’s very possible that they could write him off TV so he can do the movie by having him “injured” on Raw either this week or next.

"As noted, Randy Orton will begin filming WWE Studios’ The Condemned 2 on November 11th. WWE may be doing an injury angle this week or next week to write Orton off TV for a few weeks. He’s expected to be a part of the Team Cena vs. Team Authority match at Survivor Series."

Having Rollins possibly write him off would greatly increase the animosity between the two and make fans anticipate when Orton will return to WWE programming (Even though we can stay up-to-date with the reports online). The seeds would really be planted for a long rivalry between the two that could be incredibly entertaining to watch unfold.

Will Orton be injured tonight on Raw?  We shall see.
