Rusev is Conquering America

As seen on Friday night SmackDown, Rusev appears to be targeting Sheamus’ United States Championship.

With the Bulgarian Brute’s meteoric rise up the card, this will give the title better recognition than it has received in a very long time.

These two will likely match up at Survivor Series for USA’s title and Rusev is going to win the belt. That’s not breaking news – that’s just common sense.

Before we get there, the build for the event will be interesting to watch. Expect Sheamus to get the upper-hand for much of the next three weeks to make him look as strong as possible for their match. A contest between the two could be a lot of fun to watch, as it gets Rusev away from the usual large stars that he’s faced like Big Show and Mark Henry. He did not have a particularly good match with either because of the very slow-paced style of it. Sheamus would provide more quickness to the match and make Rusev have to work more for the win. It could even steal the show.
