Dean Ambrose vs. Cesaro

Ambrose and Cesaro brawled for a bit, with Ambrose eventually gaining the advantage. He got on top of Cesaro and threw a bunch of wild punches, and Cesaro emerged with blood on the side of his head.

Ambrose dumped Cesaro to the outside, and as Raw was going to commercial, the lights cut out in the arena, and Bray Wyatt’s graphic flashed on the screen.

When Raw returned from commercial, Wyatt was sitting on the stage in his rocking chair, and Cesaro had the advantage on Ambrose.

Ambrose used his teeth to help turn the tide, then hit his signature comeback, which isn’t actually a signature, as he does something new every time. This one included a bulldog.

Cesaro went for a backslide pin attempt, with Ambrose kicking out in two, but Ambrose stood up and quickly hit Dirty Deeds for the win.

After the match, Wyatt’s graphic flashed again. When the lights came back on, the rocking chair was still sitting there, but Wyatt was no longer in it.

2.75 out of 5 stars – Good match, but it was hurt a bit by Wyatt’s involvement.

The Authority backstage

The Authority were putting their plan together for dealing with this new stipulation, and Stephanie McMahon said that they needed to put together the strongest team possible.

Triple H pulled out his phone, and Stephanie wondered who he was calling, and Triple H responded with Randy Orton. Stephanie balked at this, but Triple H said that if they want to put together the “strongest team possible,” it would have to include Orton.

The Authority not on the same page. This is definitely the first time that’s happened since they started calling themselves “The Authority,” and it’s a welcome sight.
