Superstars That Could Revive Their Careers At NXT
R-Truth

The all-rapping, all-dancing superstar has been stuck in the doldrums of the roster for years now. Besides a brief run in the main event in 2011, R-Truth has been enhancement talent often confined to Main Event and Superstars. Yet, even though he is approaching 43, he still has the talent to push some of the young guns to their limits. His move-set is both acrobatic and stylish, and he still has the charisma to get an impassioned response from the NXT audience.
Even if his time in developmental would be mainly used to benefit his younger, less experienced opponents, this could be a great way for R-Truth to go on one final run before his retirement. Obviously, the main event is out of the question, but a reign with the US or Tag Team titles would be a fitting send-off for a loyal star that has achieved a great deal and entertained a lot of people in his time. He was paired with Xavier Woods when he debuted on the roster, but that shouldn’t be held against him. His experience would be of great help to everybody he might step in the ring with in NXT.
