WWE Survivor Series: What To Do with The Authority After the Pay-Per-View
By Mike Smith
At WWE Survivor Series, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will lead Team Authority into battle in a Traditional Survivor Series Match against John Cena and Team Cena. If Team Cena wins, the duo known as The Authority will be out of power.

My early prediction for Survivor Series is that Team Authority will lose because of Randy Orton, one way or another, leading to their removal from power.
So, how should WWE book things from there?
This will be the time for Vince McMahon to step in and be on TV every week once again.
Over the next couple of months, Vince should be running things. I would like to see Vince step in as the head of The Authority, and have Seth Rollins, Kane, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble come out by his side, but with him slowly turning face along the way.
Vince should start to question if Rollins is “the future of the WWE,” putting Rollins in pay-per-view matches that are meant to test him against other stars, not just guide him along like Triple H and Stephanie have been doing. This would hopefully lead to Rollins getting pay-per-view wins over big names like Sheamus and Christian.
At the Royal Rumble, Triple H should enter in the Rumble match and go on a run of eliminations, which is a lot easier to book with 40 guys in the match. It is something that Triple H sorely needs, after being treated like a non-wrestler since his last match with Evolution against The Shield at Payback. Since then, we have seen Triple H knocked down by a mere punch from Randy Orton, we have even seen him laid out by a dropkick from Brie Bella.
Then, we would hopefully see Triple H and Stephanie reemerge in storylines, as they attempt to wrestle some power away from the now fully-turned Vince. This would lead into the February pay-per-view (rumored to be named Fast Lane), where Triple H will make an executive decision behind Vince’s back.
The next night on Raw, Vince comes out and challenges Triple H to a match at WrestleMania 31, which Triple H will obviously accept. Triple H then asks Vince how he thinks he could possibly beat him, but Vince reveals that he won’t be the man who Triple H is wrestling.
“IF YOU SMELL….”
The rumored plan of Triple H vs. The Rock (fighting for Vince) is the perfect way to go. The match would be an official fight for power, and probably the last match of Rock’s career. If Rock was going to wrestle one last match, and Stone Cold isn’t interested in wrestling anymore, there’s no more fitting opponent than Triple H.
At the end of the final classic match in their storied rivalry, Triple H would hit a Pedigree on Rock, effectively ending the “Vince McMahon” TV character.
In wrestling, we talk about talent “putting over” another talent, but this match being booked to officially put Triple H in power, over Vince, would take it to another level.
This is the best way to book The Authority right now. They both need a break from being on TV, and having Vince shoulder the load until January would be a nice change of pace.
The Authority will never be as good as Vince in his prime, but their feud with Daniel Bryan proved that they can be truly compelling authority figures in a main storyline.
All they need is the man himself to metaphorically tell the world.
