Captain Shawn Michaels

(11 appearances, 5 wins, 12 eliminations)

The most experienced Traditional Survivor Series competitor in history, Shawn Michaels is the ideal man to lead his team in this fantasy match. Although he is the only member of this legendary collection to have a losing record, Michaels’s career would have been very different without the impact of these matches. From being part of the tag team battles with the Rockers, to his time as the narcissistic Intercontinental Champion, and the beloved babyface of the mid-1990’s, Michaels was a crucial part of every match he partook in. His high-flying style and charisma made him an adept eliminator, and his endurance allowed him to last throughout these epic encounters.

When he returned from injury in 2002, his Survivor Series involvement was that of a veteran looking to help others get over whilst securing his own legacy. So, in traditional elimination matches, he would often be the last man standing for his team, fighting unimaginable odds. Michaels became the epitome of never-give-in, often eliminating multiple opponents in handicap scenarios, before getting taken out by the next generation of stars. If anything, his second spell in the WWE confirmed him as the lynch-pin of this Survivor Series team more than his first, as he turned from an endurance member to an unquestioned leader of men.
