Lana and Heath Slater promo
Lana came out and talked about America showing their true colors this past weekend, by spending all their time looking and talking about the Kim Kardashian pictures.
Lana said that no American woman compares to the “Ravishing Russian,” and that she has a topless photo of her own. She offered to show the picture, but wasn’t sure if Americans could handle it. She finally agreed to show it, but revealed a topless photo of Vladimir Putin.
Slater came out and told Lana to shut up. He said that he is going to feed off the American spirit and that he’s going to beat Rusev. “Ding, ding, you son of a —–.”
Lana’s promo was really good. She changed her promo for the first time in months and it was really good.
As for Slater, it was short but it was amazing. The crowd really wants to get behind Slater in an ironic way.
Rusev vs. Heath Slater
Slater immediately ate a superkick and tapped out to The Accolade.
Rusev defeats Slater via submission.
Very quick squash match. I really want to see Slater do something consistent in a storyline. Even if he constantly loses, I still think he could carry a good storyline.
Grumpy Cat, The Miz, Damien Mizdow and Erick Rowan backstage
Miz pitched another movie idea to Grumpy Cat, but Rowan came in and said he wanted the Cat.
Miz and Mizdow were confused, until Rowan grabbed the stuffed “stunt double” and walked off.
The progression of Rowan’s character is going to be very interesting over the next few months. So far, I have no idea where it’s going.
