The Vaudevillains promo
The Vaudevillains came to the ring and said that when somebody deserves something, they shouldn’t have to wait for it. They talked about how they shouldn’t have to wait for their NXT Tag Team Championship Match, but they were interrupted by The Lucha Dragons, or so it seemed.
The Vaudevillains vs. The Mini-Lucha Dragons
Out came The Mini-Lucha Dragons, who didn’t seem to know that they were going to be in a match, but they quickly found themselves outmatched by their larger counterparts.
The Vaudvillains made quick work of mini-Kalisto and mini-Sin Cara, with Aiden English getting the win with a swinging neckbreaker.
The Vaudevillains defeat The Mini-Lucha Dragons via pinfall.
I’m just not a fan of these kinds of segments. They were noticeably going light on the mini-wrestlers and it just didn’t look good. Though, I will admit that it’s a nice change from the usual squash matches, and if done properly, it can be a good way to get heat. I don’t really think that was accomplished here though.
Kevin Owens vignette
Owens called himself a fighter, and said that he would be the future of the WWE.
When you watch a talented guy in the independents, you wonder what he could do if he was a part of WWE. Everybody knows how talented Owens is, but it was great to see him get the show that talent off in a WWE produced vignette.
This was the beginning of what should be a great WWE career.
