Bayley promo
Bayley brought up the fact that Charlotte said she should stay home this week since Charlotte isn’t there to have her back against Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch. Bayley said she’s dealt with bullies her whole life, and that her mom always told her to stand up to bullies because they are cowards, and that line brought Banks and Lynch out.
Bayley immediately told them to bring it on, and a shove from Banks immediately got a forearm from Bayley.
Banks and Lynch quickly took care of Bayley and taunted her as she was checked on by a group of referees.
This was the perfect Bayley promo, and Banks and Lynch were great, especially Lynch asking Bayley, “Are you going to call your momma and tell her you met some cowards?”
Tyson Kidd and Natalya backstage
Natalya was asked about Kidd’s match with Balor, which immediately rubbed Kidd the wrong way. Natalya was really excited for Kidd to get another opportunity, and said that Kidd would definitely show people something in his match. Kidd eventually cut Natalya off, despite Natalya telling him that she was “putting him over.”
Kidd blamed Gabriel for their tag team loss to Balor and Hideo Itami a few weeks ago. He said he’s been working extensively with his “Uncle Bret” and that there’s a new “Hitman” on the rise. Kidd said that Balor’s good, but that the hype is too high to live up to.
Natalya went in for a hug at the end of the interview, but Kidd asked if she had checked on their cats. Natalya said she had and asked for a hug, but Kidd said he didn’t have time because he had to go Facetime with them before his match.
This promo showed off everything that has made Kidd and Natalya great during the run they are on.
The Vaudevillains silent film: “BOOM! Go The Lucha Dragons”
It all started when Aiden English answered a phone and found out that The Lucha Dragons were robbing a bank with dynamite, and The Vaudevillains realized they had to save the NXT Tag Team Championships, but first, they had to train. The footage of them training included Simon Gotch fighting a bear.
The Vaudevillains saved the day by putting the dynamite right behind The Lucha Dragons, played by The Mini-Lucha Dragons, and out of their sight.
English and Gotch laughed as they stood over The Lucha Dragons, who now had “X”‘s over their eyes, as they held the NXT Tag Team Championships.
This was fantastic. I can’t believe they did this, but I’m so happy they did this.
