Slater Gator and Curtis Axel vs. A New Day

A New Day used fequent tags on Axel at the beginning of the match on Axel, but Heath Slater distracted Xavier Woods, helping Axel and their team take control.

Eventually, Woods was able to get to his corner and get Kofi Kingston for the hot tag. Kofi went off, before tagging Big E into the match, and using Big E’s strength to help himself go over the top rope on Axel, Slater and Titus O’Neil.

Slater got back in the ring first, but he took an assisted Big Ending from Big E and Woods.

A New Day defeat Slater Gator and Axel via pinfall.

3 out of 5 stars – I was heavily impressed with this match. I didn’t think A New Day would ever last, but now I’d love to see them get a serious chance.

Santino Marella at the merchandise stage

Santino was hyping up a bunch of merchandise, along with the Black Friday sale.

I really missed Santino. It’s stupid comedy but it always makes me laugh.

Daniel Bryan w/ Renee Young

Bryan said that the past week has been a blast, and that he has really missed the WWE Universe.

Bryan made one final decision as GM, putting The Ryback in a Chairs Match with Kane.

Renee then asked Bryan if he would be back soon, but Bryan somberly shook his head “no,” before turning that around with a resounding “Yes! Yes! Yes!”

Gold and Stardust backstage

Stardust talked about the anguish they feel from losing the WWE Tag Team Championship. They said that they’re new goal is to block out the light, and bring in the darkness.

It was a good, subtle promo about A New Day, until Goldust said, “Darkness falls on the New Day.”
