Anonymous Raw GM announcement/John Cena and Seth Rollins promo
The Anonymous Raw GM, speaking through Michael Cole, said that he is not happy. He said that with The Authority on the way out, he needs to step in and save WWE, not let a string of washed-up Superstars take over, but he was interrupted by Cena.
Cena came out and mocked The Anonymous Raw GM, while also taking a shot at Brock Lesnar. Cena hyped his team’s win over Team Authority at Survivor Series, and said he’s not going to let that be ruined by The Anonymous Raw GM. Cena closed the laptop, but Rollins came out next.
Rollins came out and mocked Cena’s bad jokes, and how the WWE Universe loves to tell Cena how much he sucks. He pointed out that Cena didn’t do much of anything at Survivor Series, and that he was taking way too much credit for his team’s win. He said that he pinned Cena, and he would’ve been the Sole Survivor, if not for Sting.
Cena said that Rollins was beat by Dolph Ziggler, who almost single-handedly beat all of Team Authority.
Rollins asked if WWE is better off without The Authority. He talked about the potential “GM of the week” scenario that they were staring at, and how that might hurt talent and the WWE Universe.
Rollins said that Cena has the power, and that Cena has no choice but to bring back The Authority. Cena pointed out that Rollins was being very bossy, especially with his “trump card” not around anymore.
Cena forced Rollins to ask him nicely to bring The Authority back, which Rollins was reluctant to do, and they were interrupted by an email.
The Anonymous Raw GM announced that Cena and Rollins would go one-on-one in a Tables Match at WWE TLC. If Cena loses, he is no longer #1 Contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Cena got upset and that’s when all hell broke loose. Rollins attacked Cena, but Cena overpowered him until Kane got involved. Ryback made the save, until Kane brought a chair into things. Erick Rowan hit Kane with a big boot, but Big Show came out and thwarted his attack. Dolph Ziggler made the save for Rowan, but he grabbed a ladder, allowing Luke Harper to come out and attack him.
In the end, the heels all took out Cena, finishing him off when Rollins teamed with Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble to hit him with a Shield-like triple-powerbomb through a table.
Too much going on here. The segment was too long and they tried to do too much.
