WWE Main Event Review: Jimmy Uso vs. The Miz

With Jimmy Uso already in the ring, Miz came out and apologized for doing anything with Naomi that Jimmy misunderstood.

He would continue his seemingly sincere apology, explaining to Jimmy that Miz’s gesture has resulted in many major Hollywood agencies showing interest in Naomi. However, Miz angered Jimmy when he wrapped the apology by saying that it’s not his fault he could do more for her career than Jimmy could.

Jimmy became enraged and charged Miz, giving him a few good shots before the match began.

Miz is awesome. He is so underrated, and pretty much always has been. He does not get enough credit from fans.

Jimmy continued his attack after the bell rang, and went to work on Miz early. Jimmy’s aggression got the better of him though, and with a little help from Damien Mizdow, Miz was able to take over.

Jimmy would get back into it, to a point where Miz even tried to leave, but Jimmy stopped him with a suicide dive. When Jimmy had Miz down on the mat, and Mizdow decided to lay there right next to him, Jimmy called Jey for some help, and they hit stereo top-rope splashes, before Jimmy covered Miz for the win.

3 out of 5 stars – Good match, but I do not understand Jimmy getting the win. This is a pretty solid angle, but they gave the payoff too soon. I have a feeling we haven’t seen the last of it, but why would I care? Jimmy already got his hands on Miz and won. He even said it wasn’t about the tag titles, it was about his wife.
