The Usos and Ryback vs. Kane, The Miz and Damien Mizdow
Ryback and Kane started the match off, with Ryback in control. Jey Uso tagged in, but Kane took over on him, and Miz stole the tag from Mizdow.
The tables eventually turned on Miz, which, obviously, resulted in Mizdow suplexing himself, then throwing himself over the top rope.
Ryback got the hot tag, and the match broke down from there. Kane was knocked to the outside by The Usos, as Jey dove out on to him. Jimmy and Miz were alone in the ring, until Miz dispatched of Jimmy, but he turned right into a Meathook Clothesline, and took Shell Shocked shortly after.
Ryback and The Usos defeat Miz, Mizdow and Kane via pinfall.
2.75 out of 5 stars – Pretty good six-man tag match. I just don’t like this kind of thrown together tag team match 6 days before a PPV.
Ricky Steamboat and Dolph Ziggler promo
Steamboat said there are over 1,000 matches in WWE every year, and some are good, and some become really, really great.
He said it takes a special circumstance for a match to become a Match of the Year candidate, and he announced that nominees for that award.
Steamboat returned after the commercial and announced Team Cena vs. Team Authority as the winner, and Ziggler came out and accepted.
Ziggler said he feels as though he’s going to build off his performance in that match, and that he never would have been there if it wasn’t for the support of his fans.
Steamboat was painfully awkward, but seeing Ziggler’s potential launching pad match be honored was more than enough to make up for it.
