Titus O’Neil vs. Jack Swagger
Swagger was fired up early on, but his aggression got the better of him and let Titus take over.
Swagger fought back into it a few times, but Titus kept cutting him off, until Swagger locked in the Patriot Lock out of nowhere.
Swagger defeats O’Neil via submission.
2 out of 5 stars – This was another weirdly booked match. I get building Swagger’s submission up, and that he can lock it in from any position, but he didn’t have to look so weak in this match, especially since most people were already counting him out for his match with Rusev.
After the match, Rusev and Lana came out and stood on the stage.
Dean Ambrose backstage
Ambrose said that Bray Wyatt makes their issues seem like some mythical event, but that all he is, is a dog, an animal that likes to fight.
He said that all there is between them is a fight, and nothing more. He said when the dust settles, he will have destroyed The Eater of Worlds, and he will hold his “whole world in his hands,” and he will crush it.
Every Ambrose promo has meaning behind it. They’re simple and to the point, and they’re great.
