Chris Jericho, Paul Heyman, Seth Rollins and John Cena promo

Jericho hyped himself as guest GM for the night, and said tonight is going to be about all the Jerichoholics in the arena and watching at home.

Jericho thanked the crowd for voting him as Slammy winner for Extreme Moment of the Year. He said he could listen to the “Y2J” chants all night long, but he’d get in trouble, so he turned his attention to the man who “accepted” his Slammy, Fandango, and demanded that Fandango give him his Slammy.

Heyman came out and announced himself as a Jerichoholic. However, he questioned the choice for guest GM, since Heyman has the more spectacular track record when it comes to running such things.

Heyman said he has an issue with Jericho, and it comes down to the Slammy win. Heyman said he’s proud of Jericho for the win, but an “extreme” Slammy probably belongs to Heyman.

The two had a little fun with each other, as Heyman talked about ECW, but then Jericho brought up $200 that Heyman owes him. Jericho prodded Heyman for the money, until Heyman backed him off and asked for permission to address Rollins, but to his surprise, Rollins wanted to address him as well.

Rollins crowded Heyman and made him uncomfortable, until Heyman backed away. Rollins then talked about how he was robbed the past two months, by “The Vigilante” Sting, and by Roman Reigns. He said that he put Cena through a table last night, and a referee even raised his hand in victory, but it still wasn’t enough, and that the victory was taken away from him.

Rollins said that Cena can’t beat him on his own and said he wanted a rematch with Cena, but not tonight, when he’s good and ready, because he went through hell, but he was interrupted by Cena.

Cena came out and shut Rollins up, telling him that after a fight, a man picks himself up and gets ready for the next fight, even if that fight is with a “Beast.” Cena turned his attention to Heyman, the advocate for The Beast, known as Brock Lesnar.

Cena said he did like the idea of a rematch, he just needed to find somebody in charge. Jericho pondered the thought, then realized that he knew somebody.

Jericho made a rematch between Cena and Rollins, and, just for fun, he put it inside a Steel Cage.

After Cena left, Rollins talked about how Jericho was jealous of him, and how Jericho couldn’t win a match against the popcorn guy, or Heyman. Jericho resented that thought and made a match between him and Heyman, with the stipulation up for a vote on the WWE App.

This was a really fun segment. WWE has six weeks between now and Royal Rumble, so there’s no reason to go full-force right into that, especially with the Christmas throwaway episode coming.

There was some slight build though, as we had an interaction between Cena and Heyman, and we’ve already introduced Rollins and the briefcase to the dynamic.
