The Highlight Reel w/ Rusev and Lana

Jericho mentioned that he predicted that The Authority would fall out of power during his last Highlight Reel, last month on an episode of SmackDown. He said that he is clearly clairvoyant, so he predicted that one of his next guests would be wearing a pantsuit that is way too tight, either red, white, or blue, but he hoped that it wouldn’t be the guy. He then introduced Rusev and Lana.

Lana opened things up by mentioning that Rusev retained his title and remained undefeated. She doubted that he had any intelligent questions, but gave him an opportunity to ask them.

Jericho pushed their buttons like only Y2J can, and clearly struck a nerve when he talked about some potential romantic happenings between Rusev and Lana.

Lana kept telling him to shut up, but Jericho refused, until Rusev stepped in. Jericho said he always says the wrong thing, and that people always want to fight him, but that somebody always wants to fight Rusev too, in fact, Jericho knew somebody who was itching to get his hands on Rusev.

Ryback came out and got right in Rusev’s face. The two had a pretty intense stare down, until Lana started to anxiously back Rusev away, and he eventually gave in.

It looks to me like it could possibly be Ryback who ends Rusev’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania. It would do wonders for Ryback, and could create a long-term rival for Rusev.
